The Grid Wars: Chapter One Graphic Novel - The Bräo Cover

"PLAY FOR FREEDOM"

Austin Carter has everything going for him: a good life in the Free Zone, a woman he loves, and college on the horizon. Then he's framed for a crime he didn't commit and dragged behind the Wall that, in the year 2062, holds half of America as prisoners.

There's only one way out. The National Penitentiary League has turned survival into entertainment -- The Grid Wars, a bloodsport where half the prisoners who play won't live to see the finish. The winner of The Grid Bowl earns the one thing every prisoner behind the Wall wants: liberty.

Austin is given the choice: rot in prison for the rest of his days, or play for his freedom.
